The caterpillars know
to fill themselves
before a long journey.
The caterpillars know
to climb, bend, twist, and stretch
towards every nourishing leaf and petal.
Lord, help me to know what the caterpillars know.
* I got home this cloudy afternoon and the monarch caterpillars were active in the backyard. I loved capturing these images.
