Threshold was created by Roger Feldman for Laity Lodge.
The stone structure is a stunning and intimate place for prayer,
reflection and quiet conversation.
The light cast across the stone creates subtle changes as the sun and clouds
move through the day. Different perspectives come into view
as I follow the curving path into the center.
I am grateful for my companions and our bright afternoon venture.
Today marks the first Sunday of Advent. Thresholds are on my mind. God crosses the threshold from heaven to earth. From time to time, we step across our own thresholds into new territory. Most days, life settles into a familiar bounce and rhythm. Advent is the time to journey again.
